A few things that make your visit easier.
Please read this before you come.
Language
Three of our doctors can see you in English. You can describe your symptoms and ask questions in English during your consultation. On every day the clinic is open, at least one of them is here.
Our reception desk and phone line are in Japanese only. Our staff will do their best to help you.
Appointments
Come during our opening hours and check in at the reception desk. We will call you by name when it is your turn.
We cannot take bookings over the phone, and our booking app is in Japanese only. Walking in is the simplest way.
What to bring
Please show it at reception on your first visit, and again at the start of each month.
Please also bring your medication record book, a referral letter, or recent test results if you have them.
Paying
If you do not have Japanese health insurance — for example, if you are here on a short stay — you can still see a doctor and pay the full cost yourself.
Travel insurance usually works by paying here first and claiming from your insurer after you go home.
Please note
For younger children, please visit a pediatric clinic (小児科 / shonika).
We care for the people of this neighbourhood — not only their illness, but their daily life.
We work together with nearby hospitals, pharmacies and care services, so you are never left to work things out on your own.
We also visit people at home when they can no longer come to the clinic. Home visits are in Japanese.

These three doctors can see you in English.
Doctor of Medicine, Chiba University. Board-certified in general internal medicine, neurology and dementia care. Graduated from the University of the Ryukyus School of Medicine in 2009, and has led this clinic since 2019.
Doctor of Medicine, Juntendo University. Board-certified surgeon, certified in endoscopic surgery and in cancer treatment. Previously worked in colorectal surgery at the National Cancer Center Hospital in Tokyo.
Graduated from Chiba University School of Medicine in 1973. Specialist in rheumatology. Opened this clinic in 1996 and has cared for this neighbourhood ever since.
